Cogenco offers standard and turnkey
systems to suit almost any heat and power requirement. Customers
can specify the unit that is most appropriate to their needs
according to the following criteria.
Frequency
The Cogenco CHP unit can be set to produce
electrical power at 50Hz or 60Hz frequency depending on local standards.
Fuel
In the past most Cogenco CHP systems were
fuelled by piped natural gas or stored LPG. Now, in response to requests
from customers for 'greener' alternatives we also can supply systems
powered by a range of biofuels. These include biogas, bioethanol,
biodiesel, landfill gas and anaerobic digester gas.

Products
Cogenco's CHP solutions cover a wide range of heat and power
outputs for small, medium and large installations. Electrical
outputs range from 130kW to 2 MW with heat outputs from 201kW to
2.3MW.
Systems can be specified in line with either base power requirement
or base heating requirement.
The system can be supplied as a single or multi-module unit to accommodate
varying power demands and allow for continuous operation during maintenance.
Services Protection, Control and Monitoring
To ensure that all of its CHP systems maintain optimum performance
at all times, Cogenco has developed an advanced, internet-based,
remote monitoring, protection control and monitoring
system.
This can carry out automatic 'health checks' on the system and
make remote interventions to achieve maximum efficiency while monitoring
the condition of components to schedule preventative maintenance.
Operating data is tracked, stored and analysed to produce regular
performance reports.
Local control and monitoring is via a user-friendly touch-screen
computer and analogue graphical display. This Human Machine Interface
or HMI has a range of display options including 'dashboard' style,
pressure and temperature parameters, engine function and statistics,
power parameters, event log and graph screens. |
